Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Iowa Women Lead Change (IWLC) today opened registration for the 2016 IWLC Eastern Iowa Conference. The early bird rate of $225/person is available until March 1.

Women and men interested in attending the April 26, 2016 conference to be held in Cedar Rapids at the DoubleTree by Hilton Convention Complex can register www.IWLCLeads.org/EasternIowa. The theme for IWLC’s 2016 slate of four conferences is “Generation: SHE.” Transamerica has continued its role as Presenting Sponsor.

The Eastern Iowa conference features four different tracks for women and men ages 14 and up:

·       Full-day Professional Track session

·       Half-day Student Track for undergraduate college students aspiring to take a meaningful step on their leadership journey and learn more about women’s leadership and career preparation

·       Men’s Track Program, designed for men who are eager to learn more about gender intelligence and how to use that knowledge to have a positive impact in the workplace

·       Inaugural Young Leaders Track for high school women interested in pursuing a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields.

“We are pleased to again offer four women’s leadership conferences across the state of Iowa in 2016,” says Diane Ramsey, IWLC CEO. “The Generation: She theme was developed in concert with past IWLC conference attendees who acknowledged an interest in leading in an age-diverse workforce. IWLC’s slate of 2016 speakers span multiple generations – mirroring the makeup of the majority of today’s workplaces – and will bring to the table their personal experiences in proactively navigating generational issues in the workplace.”
