Session Information

Feb. 17, 2021, 8-10 a.m.

In this digital age, as technology continues to take center stage, human skills and authentic, intentional leadership are more important than ever. A study of over 50,000 managers found that competence and technical skills were not the most important elements of strong leadership. It’s our human skills that make a difference.

This interactive workshop will empower and equip you with practical skills to boost your influence and impact, so you can be a catalyst for change and a more effective and connected leader. Leaders who implement the skills explored in this session will foster greater courage, curiosity and connection, and our workplace cultures will be positively impacted because of your future-ready, human leadership.

Learning Objectives

  • Discover three “power skills” necessary for effective, transformational future-ready leadership
  • Identify the trait that is most likely to contribute to leadership effectiveness
  • Learn what other organizations are doing to foster greater courage and compassion
  • Explore practical, actionable strategies for how to become a more authentic and influential leader and learn how to bring those skills back to your organization

Rachel's workshop at our 2020 Leading Ladies event was one of the most engaging, authentic, relevant, and stimulating virtual experiences that I was lucky enough to participate in. Rachel has a zest for life that is positively contagious. The enthusiasm she demonstrated while presenting was completely palpable, which translated to each of our audience members.
